Winning Design From Last Night′s PROJECT RUNWAY Available Now At Macys

Winning Design From Last Night′s Episode of Bravo′s Emmy-Nominated PROJECT RUNWAY to Be Sold by INC, International Concepts

Designer Angela Keslar Wins Macy′s Challenge with Design Now Available at Macy′s

Bravo and INC International Concepts announced today that the three-piece look by PROJECT RUNWAY contestant Angela Keslar, selected as the winning design on last night′s episode of the hit Emmy-nominated Bravo series, is now available for purchase exclusively at Macy′s. PROJECT RUNWAY fans can buy the limited-edition look sold under the INC brand at 57 Macy′s stores nationwide as well as on http://www.macys.com/ beginning today. PROJECT RUNWAY airs Wednesdays at 10:00 PM ET/PT on Bravo.

For this challenge, Mehmet Tangoren, Vice President of Contemporary Sportswear for Macy′s, directed the designers to create a look that would be incorporated into the Fall 2006 INC collection and sold exclusively at Macy′s in INC departments. Tangoren instructed that the design be consistent with the brand -- fashion-forward clothing for a woman who wants to look fabulous at an accessible price. Each contestant had 30 minutes to sketch a three-piece INC International Concepts look and then presented their designs to Tangoren. The top four designers were then chosen, and working in teams, they had two days to create a look that was judged on creativity, salability and style.

Keslar′s three-piece, military-styled INC design includes a chic heather gray cropped satin trimmed jacket ($129), a sexy ruched long-sleeve V-neck tee ($39; available in pink and black) and a stylish heather gray satin trimmed trouser ($89). In addition to these items, a t-shirt bearing Keslar′s winning sketch will be sold starting today. This 100% cotton t-shirt retails for $29 and is available at all Macy′s stores that carry the INC brand as well as on http://www.macys.com/.

Keslar, a 33-year-old resident of Amesville, OH, has been designing and manufacturing her own line of clothing since 1999. Living on an organic farm and embracing a self-sufficient lifestyle, Keslar utilizes a sophisticated system of solar technology to hand-create each piece.

"The inspiration for the INC International Concepts garment came from a New York City sunrise that I witnessed the first morning after arriving on PROJECT RUNWAY," said Keslar. "Voluptuous clouds of iridescent pink and gray danced around the gunmetal gorgeousness of the Empire State Building. This magnificent serenade embodied my vision of the modern INC woman: strong and stately, with an unmistakable air of feminine intrigue."

To kick off the sale of this limited-edition design, seven INC departments at select Macy′s locations (Union Square, San Francisco -- Herald Square, New York City -- State Street, Chicago -- Downtown Seattle -- Dadeland, Miami -- Lenox Square, Atlanta -- West County Mall, St. Louis) will be opening their doors at 8 a.m. today, allowing preferred INC customers immediate access to Keslar′s fresh, fashionable styles.

"We′re delighted to be offering Angela′s winning design in our stores," said Nancy Slavin, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Macy′s Merchandising Group. "It′s chic and versatile and fits perfectly with the on-trend look and feel of the INC International Concepts brand. Our fashion-conscious customers, who are beginning to shop for their fall wardrobes, are looking for stylish pieces that will take them from summer into the fall and beyond. Angela′s ensemble is exactly what they want."

Frances Berwick, Bravo′s Executive Vice President of Programming and Production said, "Our viewers have an insatiable appetite for everything PROJECT RUNWAY. We′re excited to partner with Macy′s to make Angela′s original design widely available to fans."

Every Thursday morning throughout this season of PROJECT RUNWAY, Macy′s Herald Square store in New York City will display the winning design from the previous night′s challenge in their windows. Each new outfit will be showcased amongst past winning designs in Macy′s windows for the duration of the show. At the show′s conclusion, the winning designs will tour to seven INC shops at select Macy′s stores with special guest appearances by PROJECT RUNWAY judge and ELLE Fashion Director Nina Garcia and PROJECT RUNWAY mentor and Parsons the New School for Design′s Chair of the Department of Fashion Design, Tim Gunn.
