America′s beloved funnyman Bob Saget ("Full House," "America′s Funniest Home Videos") revisits his hosting skills as host for NBC′s latest primetime offering, "1 vs 100," the newest international game show import from the producers of NBC′s smash hit "Deal or No Deal" premiering later this season.
The announcement was made by Craig Plestis, Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming & Development, NBC Entertainment.
"Bob is popular with audiences of all ages and is a perfect fit as host for our newest game show import," said Plestis. "His irreverent sense of humor and comedic timing will keep audiences laughing and glued to their TV sets as the drama of this high-stakes game unfolds."

Saget, best known as Danny Tanner in the long-running series "Full House" and as the host of "America′s Funniest Home Videos," is popular with all ages. His role as host of "1 vs 100" will display his ability to balance his family-friendly side with the great risque material commonly found in his comedy stand-up routines. In addition to acting and stand-up comedy, the multi-talented Saget is also a writer /director. He is currently in the process of putting the final touches on his movie, "Farce of the Penguins," a spoof on the hit documentary, "March of the Penguins."
Saget′s many television appearances which include NBC′s "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Late Show with David Letterman," NBC's "Saturday Night Live," and "Entourage."
In the hotly anticipated new game show, "1 vs 100," one player must outlast a mob of 100 people in a tense battle of brains and greed for a chance to win a huge cash prize. To stay in the game, the player must answer trivia questions and get every one right -- wrong answers from the mob eliminates them from the game, driving up the cash prize for the player. If the player can eliminate all 100 members of the mob, they′ll go home with the top prize.
From Endemol USA, "1 vs 100" is an international hit in Sweden, Belgium, Holland (where it originated), Germany, Argentina and Portugal and was recently sold to BBC in the United Kingdom to air in primetime.
