CMT and Ryder Partner for Second Season of TRICK MY TRUCK

Ryder to Provide Reliable Replacement Trucks During the Customization Period

Ryder System, Inc., a global leader in transportation and supply chain management solutions, today announced it has partnered with CMT, America′s No. 1 country music network, as the preferred alternative truck solution for the entire 24-episode season of the hit truck makeover series, TRICK MY TRUCK. Ryder will provide reliable replacement trucks to minimize downtime for the selected drivers while the "Chrome Shop Mafia," the show′s team of mechanics, customizes their ailing trucks.

"These truck makeovers can take anywhere from three to six weeks to complete. Following a successful first season, TRICK MY TRUCK will begin its extended, 24-episode second season on September 1, 2006 on CMT. During the show, the Chrome Shop Mafia takes the rigs of 24 chosen truck drivers and customizes them, turning the drivers′ dreams into reality. Ryder will provide each driver with a replacement truck until the makeover is complete. The replacement trucks give these drivers an opportunity to keep their businesses afloat, earn a living and support their families.
