Casting Call For HOOK ME UP, An Original Online Reality Show

CBS To Hold Open Casting Calls For HOOK ME UP, An Original Online Reality Show On CBS.Com′s Innertube

Where Singles Search For True Love And Viewers Get To Vote On The Outcome

Open Casting Calls To Be Held in Los Angeles on August 5 and Boston on August 11

HOOK ME UP, a new online reality series that follows four singles as they brave the world of online dating and, ultimately, let America vote on their perfect match, will run on CBS′s broadband channel, innertube.

HOOK ME UP chronicles a series of dates that the contestants go on as they are courted by four suitors, each vying for the contestant′s affections. Potential suitors will be able to post their profiles publicly on CBS.com, so America can get to know them better. Then, in each five-minute episode of HOOK ME UP, one of the contestants goes out on a date with his or her four suitors. Following that episode, viewers decide which suitors come back for another date, as the pool is whittled down from four to one. As the dating experience of each contestant comes to an end, another one will start on their quest for love. In another twist, unbeknownst to both the viewers and the contestants, each suitor has a "secret" that will be revealed at the end of each dating cycle. Internet users can log on to CBS.com and watch new episodes of HOOK ME UP three times a week.

Open castings will be held in the Los Angeles area on August 5th from 3:00-6:00 PM at the CBS Studio Center (4024 Radford Avenue in Studio City, Calif.), and in the Boston area on August 11th from 3:00-6:00 PM at CBS4 (1170 Soldiers Field Road in Brighton, Mass.).

CBS′s innertube, an advertising-supported broadband channel, offers a wide range of free entertainment programming to Internet users and can be accessed through CBS.com. HOOK ME UP will be sponsored by Dentyne chewing gum and Sony Ericsson.

CBS′s innertube features a line-up of original series produced expressly for the Internet, as well as new shows that are companions to popular CBS brands. Current innertube offerings include the web-exclusive series "InTurn," "Animate This!" and the five day a week talk show "House Calls," as well as entire episodes of CBS′s popular prime-time series "Big Brother: All-Stars."
