Benji Schwimmer Dances To Victory In SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

Benji Schwimmer Is Crowned Winner Of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

Donyelle Jones, Heidi Groskreutz and Travis Wall Eliminated As America′s Vote is Revealed on the Season Finale Last Night on FOX

In the dramatic live season finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, America′s vote was revealed and Benji Schwimmer was crowned America′s favorite dancer. Schwimmer, 22, a West Coast Swing specialist from Redlands, CA, dances away with a $100,000 cash prize, a hybrid SUV and a one-year contract with Celine Dion′s Las Vegas show, "A New Day." Prior to appearing on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, Schwimmer started a charitable non-profit organization, Dancers Everywhere Making a Needed Difference, for orphans in southern Mexico. Schwimmer′s fellow finalists - Donyelle Jones, Heidi Groskreutz and Travis Wall - were eliminated during last night′s final results show on FOX.

Another record was set after last Wednesday′s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE final performance show, when viewers cast nearly 16 million votes for their favorite dancers. The Top 4 finalists - Jones, Groskreutz, Schwimmer and Wall - performed multiple routines on part one of the season finale. Last night, on the two-hour season finale, part two, Ciara performed "Get Up" from the "Step Up" film soundtrack, and Fergie had the studio audience on its feet as she performed "London Bridge."

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE is the No. 1 show of the summer - and both the Wednesday and Thursday shows rank No. 1 in their respective time periods - among most major demographics, including Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

Starting September 12, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE goes on the road for the first time ever. Fans in cities around the country will have a chance to see their favorite dancers in person. Tickets went on sale August 12 and sold out within hours. Check fox.com/dance for additional information and updates.
