Fox Reality Launches Mobile Interactivity To Complement Daily Show REALITY REMIX

Fox Reality Pushes Into Mobile Content On Cell Phones With REALITY REMIX
Fox Networks Group′s ALL REALITY, ALL THE TIME cable and satellite network, Fox Reality, is providing fans of its popular REALITY REMIX daily show immediate opportunities to interact by answering questions, participating in polls and conversing with series′ hosts in real-time using their cellular phones or other mobile devices. The immediacy and real-time applications are the first for any of the 28 Fox Networks Group programming services. Advertisers can sponsor the "viewer transactions" by way of onscreen graphics accompanying participant polls, questions and other applications.

"Reality television demands a level of intimacy and participation between a series and its fans unlike any other genre," said Ed Skolarus, vice president of business operations at Fox Reality. "We′ve created online fantasy games where viewers play in real time and standings are a result of what happens on the show, as well as other broadband applications to accompany REALITY REMIX. The mobile space is the next great divide for our fans and us to breach."

Fox Reality televises REALITY REMIX daily at 7:30 pm ET/4:30 pm PT and follows with three subsequent encores per 24-hour cycle. Weekend shows air twice daily with afternoon & prime time slots. Rather than providing interactivity exclusive to the first telecast, Fox Reality will create live mobile interactive opportunities unique to each one of those four telecasts. That will enable series host Kennedy and fans to converse throughout the entire day and push forward tips, trends, rumors, reactions and any other relevant information prior to the next day′s events.
