YO MOMMA Returns For Second Season In New York City On October 23rd

Wilmer Valderrama′s Hit Trash-Talking Series, YO MOMMA Returns To MTV For A Second Season With Fresh New Attitude From New York City On Monday, October 23rd At 6:00 pm (ET/PT)

MTV: Music Television announced that YO MOMMA, the hit trash-talking comedy competition created, executive produced and hosted by Wilmer Valderrama, will premiere for a second season on Monday, October 23rd at 6:00pm (ET/PT) and air daily, Monday through Friday. The new season kicks off with some of your favorite episodes from season one when MTV airs a YO MOMMA marathon on Saturday, October 21st.

During the Marathon, fans can go to YoMomma.MTV.com to watch a preview special. The site includes an exclusive Sneak Peek of the season premiere episode, as well as several packages showcasing some of the best YO MOMMA jokes around. YO MOMMA returns to MTV Mobile for its second season in a big way. Yo Momma′s mobile video offering includes exclusive, daily sneak peeks of the next day′s episode, compilation clips of the best Yo Momma jokes, behind-the-scenes and making-of footage including video diaries from the cast, outtakes and bloopers, the best jokes from each of the five New York boroughs and much more. MTV Mobile users will also be able to sign up to receive the Yo Momma Joke of the Day text message, delivered directly to their phones each day of the week.

Season 2 will showcase talent from an all-new city: New York. Exploring every borough, neighborhood, and street corner, Wilmer and his sidekicks will canvas the Big Apple in search of New York′s funniest amateur trash-talker. Celebrity guests such as Fat Joe, Chamillionaire, Jadakiss and E40 will lend their expertise to select episodes and help crown the victor. YO MOMMA continues to be a no-holds-barred competition that pits the funniest amateur trash-talkers against one another. In each episode of YO MOMMA, Wilmer searches different neighborhoods in New York from Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn to find the most astute trash-talkers. The finalists from each opposing area then will utilize information from "targeted home invasions" conducted by Wilmer to make their one-on-one slams incredibly personal. The top two contestants each day will compete for a cash prize and bragging rights of being the best clowner in their neighborhood, as well as the opportunity to move forward in the tournament.

YO MOMMA returns for season 2 after a very successful first season that reached 61 million viewers (includes premiere and repeat telecasts) that ranked #1 in its time period (Mon-Thu 6-630P) among P12-34 versus cable competition. Additionally, it was the most watched in its time period among P12-24 across all of television.
