TUCKERVILLE Returns April 8th on TLC - Country Music Icon Tanya Tucker And Family

Welcome Back To TUCKERVILLE: Legendary Country Music Icon Tanya Tucker Invites Viewers Into Her Life With 16 All-New Episodes For TLC

TUCKERVILLE Delves Inside Tanya Tucker´s World as a Single Mom and Music Icon

TLC announced that TUCKERVILLE, the primetime series that follows Tanya Tucker and her family as she faces the pressures of juggling her busy music career with her daily life as a single mom to three kids, returns with new half-hour episodes beginning Saturday, April 8 at 10 PM ET/PT.

In each episode of TUCKERVILLE, viewers see the original country music "bad girl" at home with her family on the Tucker´s palatial Nashville estate, a 35,OOO-square-foot mansion on a 500-acre ranch. TUCKERVILLE chronicles Tanya´s challenges balancing family with her music career, including her touring schedule, media appearances and recording sessions. Tanya´s lifestyle is hectic, harried and chaotic, but the word her family simply uses is "crazy." At age 47 and with children ages 7, 13 and 16, traditional family roles change quickly for Tanya, so her children, as well as her faith and friends, keep her grounded and on track.

The 16 new episodes of TUCKERVILLE follow Tanya through a variety of family demands, personal missions and the occasional spur-of-the-moment adventure. In preparation for potential cosmetic surgery, Tanya visits a hypnotist to help her quit smoking and hires a personal trainer, who has some major lifestyle changes in store for Tanya due to his views on junk food and waking up at the ""crack of noon." Along the way, son Grayson attempts to set up his sitter, Curt, via an online dating service, which produces more surprises than anyone, especially Curt, could have expected. Add in Grayson´s attempt at a bass fishing TV pilot, Tanya´s unexpected Wal-Mart run to surprise her favorite cashier and a Tim McGraw concert escapade, and the new episodes of TUCKERVILLE have a lot of new antics and entertaining adventures.

Tanya´s musical career has twisted and turned through the ages. At age 13, Tanya burst onto the country music scene with "Delta Dawn," her first of 38 Top Ten singles on the Billboard Country Music charts. By age 15, Tanya had earned a Grammy nomination and was the first country artist to grace the cover of Rolling Stone. Over the years, she has broken all the rules and proved that country music stars could rock hard, be sexy and have careers that last a lifetime. The new episodes of TUCKERVILLE feature Tanya recording new demos and a track for good friend, Carrie Nelson´s, upcoming country music benefit CD.
