CELEBRITY COOKING SHOWDOWN is a exciting new reality show that brings the world of cooking to primetime television and gives stars a chance to live out their dream of cooking with the world′s best chefs.
The series is hosted by television favorite, Alan Thicke (GROWING PAINS). The in-studio judges will be lifestyle expert Colin Cowie (EVERYDAY ELEGANCE WITH COLIN COWIE) and New York Magazine food critic, Gael Greene. Celebrity chefs Wolfgang Puck, Cat Cora (Food Network′s IRON CHEF AMERICA) and Govind Armstrong (executive chef, Table 8, Los Angeles) will pair up with celebrities in this new reality cooking competition over the course of five consecutive weeknights from April 17-21.
EPISODE #1 - Series Premiere
It′s night one of the exciting primetime cooking competition with the stars. World-renowned chef Wolfgang Puck, Cat Cora (IRON CHEF AMERICA) and Govind Armstrong (executive chef, Table 8, Los Angeles) will team up with a celebrity tonight to prepare their own three-course dream meal. After one-on-one coaching and a culinary "boot camp," competition will play out in real time as the stars race against the clock in this adrenaline-filled event. Tonight Tom Arnold, country sensation Big Kenny, and Miss USA Chelsea Cooley will compete to move on to Thursday night′s finals and the ultimate cook-off! Alan Thicke (GROWING PAINS) hosts the series; Colin Cowie (EVERYDAY ELEGANCE WITH COLIN COWIE) and New York magazine restaurant critic Gael Greene serve as in-studio judges.
