CELEBRITY COOKING SHOWDOWN Final Now On Saturday Evening

NBC cannot seem to make up their mind on what to do with the ratings stave series CELEBRITY COOKING SHOWDOWN.

Yesterday morning, an announcement was made by NBC indicating that the final two episodes of CELEBRITY COOKING SHOWDOWN were going to be shown exclusively online at NBC.com. Then late in the afternoon yesterday, NBC decided to change their mind again. The final two episodes will be seen back to back on NBC TV this Saturday evening (April 22nd) starting at 8:00 pm EST.

Saturday, April 22 2006 - CELEBRITY COOKING SHOWDOWN - (8:00PM-9:00PM) - (TV-PG) - "Episode No.4" - THE HEAT IS ON - It′s down to the three celebrity finalists in the exciting primetime cooking competition with the stars. In this final battle of the pans, the celebrities must prepare a new three course meal to determine the ultimate winner. World-renowned chef Wolfgang Puck, Cat Cora (IRON CHEF AMERICA) and Govind Armstrong (executive chef, Table 8, Los Angeles) will work with a celebrity one last time in preparation for this final competition. Tonight, judges Colin Cowie (EVERYDAY ELEGANCE WITH COLIN COWIE) and Gael Greene will vote on matters of taste. Viewers will have the chance to vote for their favorite meal presentation via online and phone. Alan Thicke (GROWING PAINS) hosts the series; Colin Cowie (EVERYDAY ELEGANCE WITH COLIN COWIE) and New York magazine restaurant critic Gael Greene serve as in-studio judges.

CELEBRITY COOKING SHOWDOWN - (9:00PM-10:00PM) - (TV-PG) - "Episode No.5" -IF YOU CAN′T STAND THE HEAT--It′s the sizzling conclusion of the celebrity primetime cooking show. Before the winner is announced, world-renowned chef Wolfgang Puck, Cat Cora and Govind Armstrong will face off in an exhibition cooking competition. Following the professional chefs cook-off, the "pot" thickens when the judges and viewers votes are tabulated. And the celeb winners will be announced. Choice unseen moments from the week′s competition will alse be revealed. Alan Thicke hosts the series; Colin Cowie and NEW YORK MAGAZINE restaurant critic Gael Greene serve as in-studio judges.
