Two-time Grammy Award winning Carrie Underwood returns to the AMERICAN IDOL stage this week, performing her new hit "Wasted" on the results show Thursday, March 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed).
Carrie Underwood returns to the Idol stage where she was crowned AMERICAN IDOL in 2005. Underwood′s debut album SOME HEARTS has sold over 5 million copies and contains four #1 singles. Since winning AMERICAN IDOL, Underwood has taken home 2 Country Music Association Awards, 2 Academy of Country Music Awards, 2 CMT Awards, 2 People’s Choice Awards, 1 American Music Award and 8 Billboard Awards. She also claimed a most coveted trophy in 2006 by receiving her college degree after graduating Magna Cum Laude with high honors in mass communications with an emphasis in journalism from Northeastern State University.
