The stakes get higher as Travis leaves romantic Paris and gets a sneak peek at what life would be like with the final four women - Moana, Sarah B., Sarah S. and Susan - when he returns to the United States and travels to the hometowns of the lucky Bachelorettes. The hometown dates offer him the opportunity to see each woman on her home turf, amid the people who love her the most, providing a chance for her to shine and for romantic sparks to fly. The test for real chemistry happens here at home, where it counts - not just in Paris - on THE BACHELOR: PARIS," Monday, February 6 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
In addition, viewers will be treated to favorite moments from the hometown dates from the 11-season history of THE BACHELOR and THE BACHELORETTE - from the laughter and love to the poignant and cringe-inducing.
When Travis meets up with Moana in San Clemente, California, to meet her parents, brothers and sisters, he is the target of a harsh grilling by her father, which may ruin her chances to move on with the Bachelor.
Back in Nashville, Travis and Sarah S. realize that, ironically, they live just blocks away from each other and find that their lives intertwine. Travis gets a glimpse of the real Sarah when her kindergarten class surprises the couple. And in an unusual move, Travis invites her family over for dinner at his home.
The intensity is ratcheted up a notch when the Bachelor travels to Winnipeg, Canada, to visit Sarah B. and meet her mom and brothers. Things get tense between the two when the insecure Bachelorette confronts Travis regarding his feelings about the other women. Will this become the breaking point in their relationship?
And finally, after spending a romantic afternoon together in a park in Durham, North Carolina, Travis and Susan go to her house to meet her parents and brother. When Susan´s own parents question her intentions, Travis is totally surprised.
In the end, Travis has a very difficult decision to make when he finds he has a true connection with each of the final four women and must narrow the field to the three Bachelorettes he will take on the romantic overnight dates next week.

The clues, expected to be extremely challenging, will be placed throughout the AOL network, including websites such as AOL.com, AIM.com Moviefone.com and MapQuest.com. The clues and the show will also be promoted on other media, including television, print and wireless.

All 16 teams will face off in New York City and compete in the biggest team trivia challenge ever. Here´s how the game is played: once the first category is revealed, the teams will have 30 seconds to deliberate before sending a teammate to the microphone to play for that entire category. The chosen players will each get one question per round, and each category will contain ten rounds of questions of increasing difficulty. Categories will run the gamut, being as broad as "Family TV" or as specific as "1980´s Teen Comedy Films."
Within a round, a player is eliminated if he or she answers the question incorrectly and his opponent answers his correctly. The first team to beat its opponents in three categories, and eliminate all their players, will win and move on to the next round. In the very end, one team will be crowned the champions of THE WORLD SERIES OF POP CULTURE and receive $100,000 in cash and prizes.

UPN and THE WB TO Cease Operations - Merge And Form New Network With CBS
CBS Corporation and Warner Bros. Entertainment today announced their intent to form a new 5th network, The CW, to be launched in the fall of 2006. The new broadcasting network will be a joint venture between Warner Bros. Entertainment and CBS Corporation, with each company owning 50%. In an important strategic move that secures major market distribution for The CW, it was announced that Tribune Broadcasting and the CBS Corporation´s UPN affiliates have agreed separately to sign 10-year affiliation agreements with the new network.
The announcement for the new network was made today in New York by Leslie Moonves, President and Chief Executive Officer of CBS Corporation and Barry Meyer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Warner Bros. Entertainment. The Tribune Broadcasting affiliation agreements were announced by Dennis FitzSimons, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tribune Company.
At the same time, it was announced that CBS Corporation and Warner Bros. Entertainment will cease operations of their respective networks -- UPN and The WB. The WB and UPN will continue to broadcast their respective network schedules independently until the fall. The combination of Tribune´s 16 major market stations and the 12 CBS-owned UPN major market affiliates give The CW instant coverage in 48% of the country. The remainder of the network´s distribution system will be a combination of selected current UPN and The WB stations. The full distribution of the new network is expected to exceed 95% of the country.
Dawn Ostroff, currently President of UPN, will become President of Entertainment and John Maatta, currently Chief Operating Officer of The WB, will become Chief Operating Officer of The CW.
"This new network will serve the public with high-quality programming and maintain our ongoing commitment to our diverse audience," said Moonves. "It will clearly be greater than the sum of its parts, delivering excellent demographics to advertisers, and building a strong new affiliate body. NBC has announced that THE APPRENTICE will return to NBC in a new time slot on Monday, February 27 (9-10 p.m. ET).
The return of THE APPRENTICE has a new twist - for the first time in APPRENTICE history, the show will be filmed outside of Manhattan and the tri-state area and will shoot in Southern California.

Was A Major Reality Show Canceled Because A Gay Couple Was The Winner?
The NEW YORK TIMES reported Saturday in a copyright article that the ABC reality series, WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD, which heavily promoted last summer was canceled ten days before the first episode was to be shown because possibly accordingly to the report - the winners were a "Gay Couple".
Producers of this reality series also indicating that undue influence by religious groups also prompted the cancellation.
The article indicated that "ABC executives canceled WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD, saying that they were concerned that viewers who might have been appalled at some early statements made in the show - including homophobic barbs - might not hang in for the sixth episode, when several of those same neighbors pronounced themselves newly open-minded about gays and other groups."
And the article continued to say "But two producers of the show, speaking publicly about the cancellation for the first time... said that the protests might have been most significant as a diversion that allowed the Walt Disney Company, ABC´s owner, to pre-empt a show that could have interfered with a much bigger enterprise: the courting of evangelical Christian audiences for THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE. Disney hoped that the film, widely viewed as a parable of the Resurrection, would be the first in a profitable movie franchise.
In the months and weeks before WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD was to have its premiere, as Disney sought to build church support for NARNIA, four religious groups lifted longtime boycotts of the company that had been largely prompted by Disney´s tolerance of periodic gatherings by gay tourists at its theme parks. Representatives for two of those groups now say that broadcasting NEIGHBORHOOD could have complicated their support for NARNIA. One, the Southern Baptist Convention, with more than 16 million members, lifted the last of the boycotts against Disney on June 22, a week before ABC announced it was pulling the series."

Will the resident neighbors be able to see past their own ideals and accept all of the families as people instead of stereotypes?

SURVIVOR Open Casting Now Being Held Throughout USA Cities
CBS Has announced that they are offering an Open Casting Call for the next season of SURVIVOR.
An Open Casting Call is an event your local station holds for SURVIVOR. When you attend an Open Call, you will fill out an application and be put on camera there. You do not need to bring your own tape, and you do not need a copy of your passport. Open Calls alleviate the headaches and expenses of making your own tape, transferring it to VHS format and mailing it.
These events are also lots of fun. Meet fellow SURVIVOR fans, make some new friends, enjoy. Your local station will send the tape directly to the casting department, where it will be watched by the casting team and the same as it would be if you sent in an individual tape yourself.

They´re bright, All-American guys with ambition to spare, buddies to party with, even girls they might want to marry. But beneath the surface, they are in turmoil trying to decide whether they´re being called in an entirely different direction.
GOD OR THE GIRL captures the tension,and triumph of Joe, Mike, Steve, and Dan, four 20-something men at the most important crossroads of their lives, as, over the course of our series, they decide whether or not to enroll in the seminary and become Roman Catholic priests, or to find the love of a woman and settle down with a family. This is the ultimate struggle between the choice of two goods.
Always profoundly emotional, the choice whether or not to join the clergy, becomes even more fraught and difficult in the final weeks before the ultimate decision, which is where we join our subjects. Bravo introduces a new character-driven docu-drama, WORK OUT, that will explore the world of high-end gym owner, Jackie Warner, her trainers and their clients with six-episode of the one-hour original reality series. WORK OUT is slated to premiere in third quarter of 2006 and was announced by Lauren Zalaznick, President, Bravo, during the Bravo presentation at the Television Critics Tour.
"Bravo has had great success in introducing new characters with unique personalities and lifestyles to television audiences," said Zalaznick. "Just as the seemingly uncomplicated life of a hairstylist revealed explosive drama in BLOW OUT, viewers will be treated with a new level of high intensity entertainment with professional trainers in an exclusive gym."
WORK OUT will follow the full cast of characters that can be found at Jackie Warner´s Sky Sports and spa, including the owner (Jackie), her celebrity-trainer, diverse team of personal trainers and all of their clients. The drama will follow them in and out of the gym, where their lives overlap and intersect on multiple levels. The spectacular facilities are only part of the draw to this gym, since owner Jackie Warner has dedicated herself to hiring the most attractive staff of trainers in the city. NASHVILLE STAR To Team Up With MuzikMafia, Big & Rich and Cowboy Troy
NASHVILLE STAR, the nation´s top-rated country music series, has partnered with Nashville´s notorious MuzikMafia to bring the hottest new talent to season four including an electrifying opening performance from Big & Rich in episode one, it was announced by Libby Hansen, USA´s vice president, alternative series and specials.

KENNY VS SPENNY Renewed For Second Season on GSN - Premiere Episode To See Who Can Kiss More Women
GSN, the network for games, will premiere the second season of KENNY VS SPENNY on Saturday, January 14 with an episode in which stars Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice compete to see who can kiss more women. National Reality Casting Call For LOOKING FOR STARS
Starz Entertainment Group (SEG) has begun LOOKING FOR STARS with a national casting call to find a new talent to cast in a speaking role in an upcoming Revolution Studios major motion picture. The Starz original series LOOKING FOR STARS will document the contestants´ journey from their first auditions through the winner´s appearance in the star-driven big budget Revolution Studios film.
Starz invites interested parties to log onto starz.com and print an application. Applications will be available through February 21 and selected applicants will be asked to participate in one of four auditions. In March and April a team of industry professionals will judge these applicants during the auditions held in New York, Las Vegas, Orlando and Kansas City, Kansas.
"Our partnership with Revolution Studios allows us to inspire and encourage undiscovered talent across the nation with real prospects for a shot at appearing in a major motion picture," said David Charmatz, senior vice president of channel management for SEG. "LOOKING FOR STARS will bring to life the drama that´s part of what it takes to pursue a showbiz career."

Spike TV´s THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER 3 Kicks Back Into Production
The best up-and-coming mixed martial artists from around the world have convened in Las Vegas in pursuit of one goal - to be named the "Ultimate Fighter" and to be given a contract in the Ultimate Fighting Championship(R) organization. For the third season of Spike TV´s highly successful reality series, THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER, UFC legends and bitter rivals Ken Shamrock "The World's Most Dangerous Man" and Tito Ortiz will train and coach the participating light-heavyweights and middleweights.
Production on THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER 3 begins on Monday, January 16 and continues in Las Vegas for about the next 6 weeks. THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER 3 premieres Thursday, April 6 at 11:00pm ET/PT. The series is hosted by Dana White, UFC President.
During the thirty-eight day competition, the 18 men will endure a grueling regimen of jiu-jitsu, judo, Muay Thai, karate, boxing and wrestling. Ted Nugent´s Reality Series WANTED: TED OR ALIVE Returns With Five New Contestants
This January, as people around the world ring in the New Year with traditional vows to change one aspect of their lives, five city slickers will be forced to change every aspect of their lives when they try to prove they have what it takes to survive a week in the wilderness, competing against one another in challenges of survival and outdoor skill, on the Michigan ranch of rock n´ roll legend, wildlife conservationist and lifelong hunter Ted Nugent. Beginning Sunday, January 8 at 10 p.m. ET, OLN´s highest-rated 2005 original series, WANTED: TED OR ALIVE, returns to the network with new contestants and new challenges that will compel players to reflect on their way of life, on new beginnings, and, ultimately, their transformation of character.
An avid outdoorsman and considered by many as the world´s best guitarist showman, Nugent pushes the limits of each contestant as they are thrown into the wild and forced to live off the land to eat, win and survive with Ted´s tools and by Ted´s rules. From using buffalo skin to make their own clothes to learning the sharp shooter skills of an archer, they participate in various challenges throughout the episodes, accruing points in the form of cash dollars along the way. The participant with the most ´money´ at the end of the week will win a grand prize of $25,000.

* Human Scarecrow: In an ultimate endurance test, the contestants are transformed into human scarecrows to scare off varmints in the field. Only those who are in peak condition both physically and mentally will succeed.
* ATV Roadkill Race: In this target skills challenge, the contestants must complete an ATV course as quickly as possible, but must also run over fake "animal" targets along the way.
* Swamp Find: Armed only with boots and rubber pants, the contestants must wade into Ted´s sludgy, smelly, putrid swamp and retrieve as many metal boxes as possible. After retrieving the boxes, the contestants will find out if their efforts truly paid off, as each box could contain a dollar amount or just an empty bullet shell.

TNT Announces DRAMATIC AUDITIONS Program Winner
Turner Network Television (TNT), the first and only network dedicated to drama, announces the winner of its second annual DRAMATIC AUDITIONS program, a nationwide search for the most talented aspiring actors in America. Monifa Days, a 30-year-old aspiring theatre actor from Chicago, received top scores to rise above more than 2,200 other participants in the competition and clinch the title as this year´s winner.
TNT´s Dramatic Auditions search began in Los Angeles on October 6 before heading to Chicago on October 11 and making one final stop in New York City on October 20. Hopeful actors across the country who could not attend the live auditions were allowed to submit videos of their audition both online and by mail. Focused on serious dramatic acting, DRAMATIC AUDITIONS re-enforces TNT´s dedication to drama.
For their audition, the budding actors selected monologues from The New Classics´ movies on TNT (a complete list is available at www.tnt.tv) and, in each city on the program´s tour, had the opportunity to perform their selected scene live in front of a panel of judges. The first major off-channel talent search contest conducted in a format similar to traditional auditions, DRAMATIC AUDITIONS attracted thousands of talented actors from across the country.
Days was selected as one of the top three finalists from a group of 20 semifinalists in November and flown to Los Angeles for a final audition taping. She then went on to defeat Saadiqa Muhammad, also of Chicago, and Serge Thony of New York in the final audition process. As the grand prize winner of TNT´s Dramatic Auditions program, Days will receive $50,000, an apartment in Los Angeles, use of a car for 12 months, acting lessons at both Jeremiah Comey´s Studio and the renowned Margie Haber Acting Studio in L.A., and a personal publicist. Days is relocating to L.A. in mid-January and will be chronicling her West Coast experience through an online video diary. Days´ followers can view the video diary at www.tnt.tv.

FASTEST CAR IN AMERICA Is Announced - Will Be Seen On Fox Reality
Public Media Works, Inc. announced that it has signed an Agreement with the Fox Reality Channel to air the FASTEST CAR IN AMERICA for a thirteen week schedule.
The Company and Strom Magallon Entertainment have created the one-hour reality show which answers questions and digs into the drama behind America´s fascination with the automobile. The basic premise of the drama is that a field of 4 teams, comprised of 4 drivers each, are "locked down" on the racetrack for three weeks where everyday is race-day, winners stay to continue to compete, and losers go home.
The host of the show, Chris Jacobs, is also the star of the hit show OVERHAULIN´. Jacobs will serve as ringmaster for the asphalt circus. The show will also include a young woman stunt driver or racer as the "Track Queen" who will illustrate the strategies and challenges of the unique "Dominator" track. In the mechanic bays, Steve Strope of Pure Vision Design, world-renowned car builder and general gear maniac, will serve as "Pit Boss" outlining the mechanical hurdles each car must face. Strope will also serve as a referee, checking cars for illegals like hidden nitrous all to gain an edge for their team.
Each episode will run from sunrise to sundown. Each of the four acts will end in a race. Inside these acts are the debates, the preparations, the trash talk and tension of readying a street legal car to jet around the world´s most challenging track at speeds up to 200 mph. The cars and drivers include a wide range of personalities - from rich men rolling super cars such as Porsches and Ferraris, to middle American craftsmen and women in maxed out muscle cars, to young urban geniuses tuning and tweaking imports. Bravo To Launch New Original Reality Series THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY
First there was PEYTON PLACE...then DALLAS... and now DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. America loves those deliciously soapy looks behind the curtains of seemingly perfect worlds. This spring, Bravo will premiere THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY, a new one-hour reality series which provides exclusive access to five families who live in one of the wealthiest planned communities in the country. The seven-episode series focuses on five real-life housewives living in a protected Southern California enclave, exposing the excitement, extravagance and everyday drama that exists in their unscripted and unrehearsed lives. THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY premieres Tuesday, March 21, 2006 (10:00 - 11:00 p.m. ET/PT). The announcement was made today by Lauren Zalaznick, President, Bravo.
"Bravo continues to innovate in the reality TV genre with this riveting series exploring the complicated daily lives of five privileged women and their families," said Zalaznick. Now, here is a series that depicts real-life ´desperate´ housewives with an authentic look at their compelling day-to-day drama."
THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY will follow five sophisticated women and their families who lead glamorous lives in a picturesque Southern California gated community where the average home has a $1.6 million price tag and residents include CEOs and retired professional athletes. Orange County "housewives" Kimberly, Jeana, Vicki, Lauri and Jo are used to the good life and will do everything they can to hang on to it. The women each have their own personal story to share, and they´ve granted Bravo an all-access pass into their lives, families, friendships, careers, and homes. From diamond parties to Botox sessions to the stress of having a high-powered career, the women take viewers along for the ride and into their real-life dramas that show how life isn´t always perfect behind the gates. Just what lies beneath the surface of this "perfect" community?
The women mostly live the good life, but also represent the modern-day version of the "happy housewife," which today includes juggling the challenges of a stressful career with a busy family life. These women are sexy, sophisticated, and know how to turn heads, set trends, and keep up appearances in one of the most stylish communities in the country.
* Kimberly Bryant is 40-something and has two kids with executive husband Scott. She´s the classic ´Trophy Wife,´ thanks to her plastic surgeon and husband´s money, but also incredibly articulate and hard-working.
* Jeana Keough is a former Playboy Playmate and actress who is now a 40-something wife of former major league baseball star, Matt Keough. A 19-year resident of her gated community and mother of three teenagers, Jeana also sells real estate "for fun" and the insider gossip.
* Vicki Gunvalson is a successful, self-made, 40-something woman to be reckoned with. She´s a lucrative insurance broker, devout Christian, and is married for the second time. She also has two teenagers and is feeling the affects of the looming empty-nest ahead as her youngest gets ready to leave for college.
* Lauri Waring is 40-something and works as an insurance broker for Vicki Gunvalson. Recently divorced and forced to downsize her lifestyle, Lauri is a single mom with three kids (one just released from juvenile hall), struggling to regain her status in the community.
* Jo De La Rosa is the 20-something "newbie" to the community, recently engaged to one of the divorced dads in the community, Slade Smiley. Confident and sexy, Jo is trying to figure out her place in this strange new world.

Bravo Presents PROJECT RUNWAY Spin-Off Special PROJECT JAY - Featuring Season One Winner Jay Mccarroll
Bravo´s one-hour documentary special, PROJECT JAY, will follow Jay McCarroll, the winner of the first season of the Emmy-nominated series PROJECT RUNWAY, as he moves to New York from his rural Pennsylvania town and starts working on and marketing his very own fashion line. To Be Considered As A Contestant:
1. Make a 5-minute personal videotape of you and the supporters you wish to have appear with you on TV.
2. Fill out an application (include a recent photo of each person)

1. Making Your Videotape
Making a videotape audition for the program is very easy. Using a video camera, make us a 5-minute tape that tells us a little about yourself and what you would do with $1,000,000. Be sure to include the people you would like to appear with you on-camera as your "supporters." Be creative, show them your personality - tell us what makes you unique. Please start with your name and hometown. There is no "right" or "wrong" thing to say on your tape, they just want to get to know you.
Make sure they can see and hear you clearly.
Label the tape with your name address and phone number.
They can only accept VHS tapes (The ones that fit in your VCR). Transferring your camcorder tape to VHS can be accomplished easily. Use the Red, White, and Yellow cables that come with your camera to connect it to your VCR. Push play on your camera, and Record on your VCR. Please run a test and make sure your transfer worked properly.
Be Kind, Rewind. Rewinding your tape to the beginning greatly increases our fondness for you.
2. Filling out the Application:
Adobe Reader is required to view the application.
Please take your time and answer the questions honestly. They will only accept completed and signed applications if they are accompanied by your videotape.
Include a recent photo:
Please enclose a recent personal photo of each person with the application. Make sure your photo(s) are clearly labeled with your names and phone numbers on the back. It is best, though not mandatory to send 2 clear photos of each person - one close up and one full body.
3. Sending Your Package
