The opportunity of a lifetime is about to come true for one of America´s best and brightest high school students in an original, new, one-hour unscripted series that will send the winner to a top-rated university, all expenses paid.
Filmed on location at the University of Southern California, THE SCHOLAR will be the first show ever to celebrate higher education as the ultimate American prize.
From award-winning producers Steve Martin, Joan Stein, Jon Murray (THE REAL WORLD, THE SIMPLE LIFE), Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner (THAT 70's SHOW, ROSEANNE, THE COSBY SHOW), the six-episode series will premiere Monday, June 6, (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
For the chance at a full ride to the college of their choice, ten qualified high school seniors - who might not otherwise have an opportunity to attend one of America´s top universities - will compete for a full scholarship, a prize valued at $250,000. They will have to demonstrate excellence in the areas of academics, leadership, creativity and community service, while facing sudden-death oral exams defending themselves to an Ivy League scholarship committee.
THE SCHOLAR contestants include:
Max C., Oakland, CA
Alyssa D., Yuba City, CA
Amari H., St. Charles, MO
Melissa H., Tarzana, CA
Davis L., Memphis, TN
Scot P., New Freedom, PA
Jerald T., Commerce, TX
Jeremy T., Westminster, CA

The $250,000 college scholarship will be donated by philanthropist Eli Broad.
Hosted by Rob Nelson, THE SCHOLAR was filmed in and around the Los Angeles-based campus of the University of Southern California.

EXTREME MAKEOVER WEDDING EDITION To Premiere May 9 on ABC
Meet deserving couple Kyle Garlett and Carrie Riordan, whose heart warming story of love and courage inspires an incredible team of wedding planners and designers - dubbed the "I Do Crew" - to throw the wedding of their dreams in just three days, on EXTREME MAKEOVER WEDDING EDITION, Monday, May 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Groom Kyle Garlett, 33, is the very face of courage: A four-time cancer survivor, he has spent most of his teenage and adult life in and out of hospital. The toll of ongoing chemotherapy has destroyed his heart, and he is currently waiting for a heart transplant to save his life. Our bride, Carrie Riordan, 29, is a community activist and marathon runner who met our groom when she was training for a charity run for the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society in 2002. Despite their deep love, they´ve been unable to have a wedding due to costs they will incur with the heart transplant.
The couple get the surprise of their lives on the grounds of City of Hope Medical Center in Duarte, CA, where Kyle has received medical treatment for the last several years and where the ceremony is to take place. To prepare for the big event, celebrity dance choreographer Cris Judd teaches Kyle, who has never danced with Carrie, moves for their first dance together as husband and wife. And to keep the fun going, Kyle's favorite hometown team, the Kansas City Chiefs, sends one of their own, Tony Gonzalez, to help celebrate at his bachelor party. Bride Carrie wears a custom made wedding gown by cancer survivor Amy Michelson, and is covered in diamonds by Tacori, as is her entire bridal party, creating a spectacular sparkle effect during a ceremony that is lit by 1000 candles.
The theme of the reception is "Christmas in New York," to combine the couple´s favorite city and holiday - marking a milestone in Kyle´s life as, at one point, he wasn´t expected to live past Christmas. A New York City skyline is built to create Christmas-decorated store fronts, and Kristi Yamaguchi helps install a synthetic ice skating rink which can stand the California heat, built to resemble the famous rink at Rockefeller Center. To complete the New York at Christmastime theme, snow falls at the reception and the newlyweds, surrounded by 150 family and friends - who were flown in within 48 hours - dine under 10,000 strands of twinkle lights on filet mignon and lobster. To top it off, legendary Liza Minnelli performs the classic "New York, New York" at the newly married couple´s reception.

Second Season Of BLOW OUT To Premiere On Bravo June 7
After renowned hairstylist Jonathan Antin opened Jonathan Salon Beverly Hills last year with great success, great drama and a season finale capturing over one million viewers on Bravo, viewers can delve into Antin´s new career ambitions, the lives of his talented stylists, and the new Jonathan Product team with the second-season premiere of BLOW OUT on Tuesday, June 7 (9-10 p.m. ET).
In addition, Antin turns his sights on the global market as he plans the worldwide launch of his multi-million dollar hair care line, Jonathan Product. It´s his latest and most taxing undertaking yet -- and ripe with all the tears, trials and tension tailor-made for intriguing television this summer.
"This new line could make me bigger than Vidal Sassoon, but if Jonathan Product doesn´t hit the shelves in a few months we could all lose everything," says Antin in the season premiere episode. "I could lose my house, my car, my salons, my employees. I could come out the biggest hairstylist in history and a multi-millionaire or I could lose the shirt off my back."
It´s been a year since the grand opening of Jonathan Salon Beverly Hills and Antin´s dream of establishing a presence in the beauty capital of the world was realized. Now, he´s poised to make his impact on the hair care industry with the launch of Jonathan Product, the culmination of years of experience and his innate knowledge of the products needed to accentuate a perfect cut. It´s a risky endeavor for any company, and an even greater one for the individual whose name is on it, and whose livelihood is dependent on its success.
Red-eye flights, hourly calls - it´s just the beginning of what´s demanded of Antin and the team, led by established beauty experts Beth Ann Catalano and Tina Hedges, as he prepares for the launch of Jonathan Product. And the clock is ticking - the timeline for the launch of Antin´s product line is just three months.
And while Jonathan Product has been available for purchase in Antin´s salons for years, the growing pains experienced as the tried-and-true products are finessed and re-branded are no less grueling - especially when Antin´s artistic sensibility clashes with hard deadlines. The process is further complicated when a test of wills ensues between the exacting stylist and the cocky design guru who has no qualms about challenging the hairstylist´s own creative vision.
The pressures weigh heavily on Antin - a man not afraid to cry. What drives the passionate stylist and entrepreneur and what is the personal cost of success. To answer that question, season two takes viewers inside Antin´s private therapy sessions, as well as explores his relationships with girlfriend Sescie, and his sister and best friend Robin Antin, creator of the Pussycat Dolls.
Also joining Antin are his talented stylists, but who remains from the first season and who was let go. New faces will also be introduced as season two follows Antin as he bounces back and forth between his Beverly Hills and West Hollywood locations in an effort to keep both businesses running smoothly. The audience will see an overextended Antin struggling to keep it all in check as he pushes himself, his stylists, and the Jonathan Product executive team to the brink of success, all in the name of good hair.
As a teenager, Antin was inspired to become a stylist by Warren Beatty´s role as the sexy, lady-loving George Roundy in the hit film SHAMPOO. He dropped out of Beverly Hills High to enroll in the Fairfax Beauty Academy, where he quickly landed a job at a trendy West Hollywood salon. Like Beatty´s character, Antin´s smoldering good looks and charisma, combined with his unique fashion sense proved irresistible. Within a few years, he claimed the salon as his own - garnering a list of celebrity clientele rivaling the best in the business. With the successful opening of Jonathan Salon Beverly Hills, Antin´s brand and presence in the beauty industry continues to grow as he looks to also expand and market his own product line, Jonathan Product.

New Reality Show SUPER AGENT Premiering July 22 on Spike TV
USC All American defensive lineman Shaun Cody is asking for an NFL team to ´show him the money.´ Fortunately, he has NFL All-Pro Tony Gonzalez and Spike TV to help. Cody, a future millionaire and blue-chip NFL draft pick will decide between nine prominent sports agents angling to represent him in SUPER AGENT, a new, original eight-episode series on Spike TV premiering Friday, July 22 (10:00 - 11:00pm ET/PT).
Gonzalez, the Kansas City Chiefs´ future Hall of Fame tight end, will serve as host and provide council to Cody as he puts the nine agents through a litany of challenges and tasks to ultimately represent him.
"This series lifts the curtain on the intriguing decision-making process top athletes go through in deciding on an agent," said Kevin Kay, Executive Vice President, Programming and Production, Spike TV.
The tasks the various agents will be judged will showcase their skills in negotiating deals, evaluating football talent, and handling personal relationships with friends and families. From the sidelines of the Senior Bowl, to Super Bowl hospitality tents, to Cody´s living room in Hacienda, CA, Spike TV´s cameras will follow the agents in their quest to land the multi-million dollar client.
In each episode, a different agent who fails to impress Cody in the assigned task will be eliminated. Gonzalez will serve as his trusted advisor and mentor through the process and will be on hand in each episode to share his eight years of NFL experience in dealing with agents with his younger neophyte. The winning agent is selected on the final episode. The series culminates on the NFL Draft Day as Cody receives the most anticipated call of his life - from his new NFL team.
"The most critical business decision a college athlete makes when becoming a professional athlete is choosing his agent," adds Gonzalez.
Gonzalez, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, has spent his entire eight-year career with the Kansas City Chiefs and is regarded as the game's preeminent tight end. In 2004, he became the first tight end in NFL history to record over 100 receptions in one season. Gonzalez grew up in Huntington Beach, CA and was the rare athlete to play both Division I football and basketball at the University of California at Berkeley.

Amy Henry
Age: 30
Residence: Austin, TX
Marital Status: Married
Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, Texas A&M University; MBA, Texas Christian University
Amy Henry was the "last woman standing" on the first season of THE APPRENTICE. A born and bred Texan, Amy has made her mark on the Lone Star State in which she has developed her own consulting company and is a sought-after public speaker, workshop leader, and business consultant. In addition to her business ventures, Amy serves as an active volunteer for St. David´s Foundation and Camp Periwinkle, and is a spokesperson for The American Heart Association. She´s also on the Board of Directors of GENAustin.

Audrey Evans
Age: 22
Residence: Salt Lake City, UT
Marital Status: Married
Education: Certified Real Estate Professional
Audrey Evans knows what it takes to survive. After high school, Audrey did not have the opportunity to continue her education. She was determined to succeed, and became one of the youngest certified real estate agents in Utah. Coming from the Street Smarts team, and with the experience of THE APPRENTICE on her side, Audrey is expanding her business projects into the non-profit arena. She is currently working on starting an organization called "A Day on the Job," which helps underprivileged kids gain experience in the business community.

Brian
Age: 29
Residence: Wildwood, NJ
Marital Status: Single
Education: South Jersey Professional School of Business, Real Estate
Entrepreneur is not a big enough word for Brian McDowell. Brian was earning money as early as age 5. School was not just a place to learn—it was a place to do business. At 21, Brian sold his successful landscaping company, moved to New Jersey, started a retail novelty business, and trademarked and branded "GLOWLITES." As if that wasn´t enough, this self-made millionaire received his real estate license and now runs a real estate company servicing Cap May County, New Jersey. Brian is a risk-taker. Don´t miss the opportunity to talk with one of Trump´s chosen few on THE APPRENTICE Legend Cruise.

Maria
Age: 31
Residence: Virginia Beach, VA
Marital Status: Single
Education: MBA, Specialty Studies in Entrepreneurial Marketing, Regent University, Virginia
Season 2 of THE APPRENTICE had its share of outstanding leading women, including Maria Boren. Maria was the subject of one of the most surprising episodes of the season, when Mr. Trump fired two candidates on the same task. Beyond THE APPRENTICE, Maria carries a wealth of experience and accomplishments in her business life. She currently serves as the youngest vice president in the history of her company, Cornerstone Realty Income Trust. Where does her young success come from? A legacy handed down by a driven, full-time working role model (her mother), and her ability to keep her eye on her ever-evolving dream—a life based on balance.

Rob F
Age: 32
Residence: Frisco, TX
Marital Status: Married
Education: B.S., Kinesiology, University of Texas at Austin
Rob´s one episode on Season 2 of THE APPRENTICE definitely did not do him justice. She currently serves as the youngest vice president in the history of her company, Cornerstone Realty Income Trust. Where does her young success come from?
