Season Two Of DEADLIEST CATCH Returns Tuesday On Discover Channel - With Alot Worst Weather Conditions
Discovery Channel returns to the Bering Sea for an all-new riveting season of the hit original series DEADLIEST CATCH. Viewers will once again voyage to the frigid Alaskan waters where crab fishermen collide with Mother Nature performing the most dangerous job in the world - where there is a nearly 100% injury rate and an average of one fisherman is lost every week. This season the men must also deal with restrictive state-imposed regulations that dramatically impact their lives, their livelihood, and the crab fishing industry.
The premiere of the first season of DEADLIEST CATCH in April 2005 was the highest rated series premiere on Discovery Channel this decade. The highlighy anticipated second season debuts March 28 at 9 PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel.
Crewmembers face sub-zero temperatures, 40-foot waves (almost three times the size of last year´s 15 foot waves) and 50-knot winds (compared with last year´s 30-knot winds) that knock the crew off their feet and drag them across the decks. But it´s not just the weather that forces the crew to pull 20-hour shifts. They must also meet demanding seafood processor deadlines and minimize rising fuel costs.
For many of these men, often second and third generation fishermen, working to the brink of exhaustion to haul in their quota of crab as quickly as possible is also simply a matter of pride. Derby style or not, captains continue to forge into the Bering Sea to compete not only against Mother Nature, but also against each other.
DEADLIEST CATCH follows the captains and crew of five ships on this dramatic voyage as they struggle against treacherous conditions to earn a living and, in many cases, to uphold family tradition that has lasted for generations.

GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS In-Production On The A&E Network A Look At The Legendary Rock Star And His Unconventional Family Life
The A&E Network is in-production on GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS. Dad is Gene Simmons - the legendary, tongue wagging demon of KISS. Mom is Shannon Tweed - former Playmate Of The Year, actress and model. And their kids, Nick and Sophie, are, well...surprisingly charming, well-behaved teenagers dealing with the trials and tribulations of adolescence, even though Mom and Dad are like no one else´s parents.
Gene and Shannon have been happily UNmarried for 22 years and have no plans of getting married any time soon.
Gene is a rock star, and a multi-media magnate. He is also the kind of dad who brings Gatorade to his daughter´s soccer games and stands in the front row of his son´s rock band when they play gigs.
This series will reveal the side of Gene that he has kept hidden until now, and shows how the most non-traditional, traditional family in America manages to make it work under the oddest of circumstances. Gene Simmons is co-founder of KISS, which has broken box office records worldwide set by Elvis and the Beatles and which has 2,500 licensed and merchandised products from KISS VISA cards, to KISS condoms (www.GENESIMMONS.com).
Gene is also busy running his Simmons Records, Simmons Audio Visual, Gene Simmons Game magazine, being Chairman of a forthcoming television network, and is busier than ever in another of his new ventures: SIMMONS ABRAMSON MARKETING, which handles worldwide branding/marketing and branding for the Indy Racing League.

New Reality Series HONEY WE´RE KILLING THE KIDS On TLC - Unhealthy Lifestyles
Beginning Monday, April 10 at 9 PM ET/PT, TLC will transform the lives of 13 families across the nation in the groundbreaking new series HONEY WE´RE KILLING THE KIDS! The series kicks off a new parenting and relationships programming block on TLC.
In each family, the children´s eating habits have spiraled out of control into a diet of nonstop junk food - sugar, snacks, processed food - and huge, oversized portions. Coupled with a lack of exercise and sleep, this lifestyle means the kids are not only hyper and unruly, they are at serious risk of becoming overweight and developing high-blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease.
HONEY WE´RE KILLING THE KIDS! offers a startling look at the causes of America´s childhood obesity epidemic and issues a critical wake-up call for parents. In the series, nutrition expert Dr. Lisa Hark shows how everyday choices can have long-term impacts on children, and offers both the motivation and the know-how to help turn these families´ lives around. Using state-of- the-art computer imaging and certified assessments based on measurements and statistics, Dr. Hark first gives Mom and Dad a frightening look at the possible future faces of their children -- and a dramatic reality check. Then, introducing her new guidelines and techniques, Dr. Hark works with parents to reverse course and give their kids a healthy diet and active lifestyle. But will they stray the course and revert back to their unhealthy ways?
The family then has three weeks to overhaul its bad habits under the direction of Dr. Hark, who delivers a set of life-altering rules with the aim of completely transforming the children´s future health and lifestyle. Dr. Hark´s rules are straightforward and simple -- rules like "Sack the sugar," "Family eats together," "Set a bedtime routine," "Limit television hours" and "Exercise together" are introduced each week.
How are the families responding to the challenges set by Dr. Hark? Are the children trying new healthy foods? Can Mom quit smoking? Will Dad agree to become more involved in family life? Will the children try rock-climbing? While not always initially easy for the families, the rules often become fun, as new experiences are brought into their routines. "We are seeing dramatic improvements in these kids´ eating habits and activity level in only three weeks," notes Dr. Hark.
Says David Abraham, general manager, TLC, "HONEY WE´RE KILLING THE KIDS! taps into the family experience, capturing the emotionally charged moments that moms and dads across the country face every day as they juggle schedules and make critical parenting choices." He continues, "Viewers will be captivated by each family´s struggles and challenges, but will also be armed with a wealth of easily incorporated information for better nutrition and exercise habits that can be used in their own lives."
At the end of the three weeks, Dr. Hark meets with the parents to discuss the modifications made to the family's diet and lifestyle. Taking all of the changes into consideration, she then provides a new simulation of what each child could look like in the future, if they continue their healthy nutrition and exercise habits on a long-term basis.

The Surreal Lifers learn that they are assisting Steve Harwell and his band Smash Mouth in the making of the video for their new single, STORY OF MY LIFE.
The cast begins to worry before the cameras even roll when Producer Tawny nixes all ideas and refuses to spend money for props and costumes as she feels it´s the producer´s job to bring the production in under budget.
As the director, Steve tries to keep the peace and control of the video. Meanwhile everyone is appalled as Tawny places herself in every shot and manages to offend Florence by "denigrating nuns" in a racy vignette.
Will they finish the video before the crew´s wrap time or will they be left standing on a dark set with only half the video in the can?

BET Offers Reality Documentary THE DOWN LOW EXPOSED On March 28th - Secret World Of Sex
BET News Stirs Storm of Debate, Strong Messages About Sexual Conduct in Explosive Reality Documentary on March 28
THE DOWN LOW EXPOSED Probes Secret World of Men Having Sex With Men While Masquerading as Heterosexuals in a Dangerous Gamble with Lives of Female Partners
Cowards ... sexual deviants ... liars ... murderers. And those are just the one-word bullets fired across the spectrum of opinions and emotions in THE DOWN LOW EXPOSED, a shocking documentary presented by BET News on Tuesday, March 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. This one-hour special traverses the backstreets, nightclubs, websites and even the sanctity of marriage where some Black men are leading ´double-lives´ as heterosexuals with unsuspecting women; and then flipping the script in a dangerous duality of homosexual pursuits. The end result is confusion, anger, betrayal, tears, family destruction and, in some cases, the ultimate price of HIV and AIDS infections of the innocent and unknowing.
Atlanta-based author J. L. King first ignited the debate in 2004 with his controversial tell-all book entitled On the Down Low: A Journey into the Lives of "Straight" Black Men Who Sleep with Men. Since then, a firestorm has raged around the issue. Emotions were further fueled when the husband of best- selling author Terry McMillan broke his own silence by admitting to a secret gay lifestyle. These days, battle lines exist from the prisons to the pulpit.
"That´s part of their problem - they´re cowards," said an emotionally- charged McMillan in what she proclaims is her final public interview on how her marriage to Jonathan Plummer unraveled. "I think that he (Plummer) should be charged with attempted murder for risking my life without my knowledge or consent ... I think that what you (BET) are doing should be applauded because I think more than anything there are women out there that are victims. And I think that we need to hold men accountable for their actions."
BET News will examine this divisive subject from a variety of important angles including sex among men in prison and its impact on the spread of HIV/AIDS; the "don´t ask, don´t tell" policy prevailing in the Black church; the sobering impact of HIV and AIDS on women infected by men who hid their homosexuality; and the crucial importance of being tested for HIV/AIDS. An encore showing of THE DOWN LOW EXPOSED is also scheduled for Friday, March 31 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
"The DOWN LOW is one of those subjects that fascinate people. There are e-mails circulating that accuse people; folks buy books and see lectures on the subject," said BET President of Entertainment Reginald Hudlin. "But with all that talk, people aren´t learning what´s really going on. With this special, we want to hear every point of view - men who lead double-lives, their lovers, women who have been involved with them, church people, ex-cons, AIDS activists and regular folks on the street."
"There´s a resoundingly loud and clear message here - what you don´t know may very well kill you," said Shirley Neal, President of Park Hill Entertainment and executive producer on the project for BET. "We´ve wrapped around this documentary an anthem of no more secrets, no more lies. This is not an issue to whisper about anymore. The emotions of those who feel victimized, as well as those who see this as a chosen lifestyle are completely unfiltered."
In addition to McMillan, J. L. King revisits his inflammatory book; discusses his own life in the aftermath; and takes part in an exclusive interview with his former wife Brenda Stone-Browder, who has remarried and started a new life. Noted Hollywood actor/producer/director Bill Duke also reveals the intense motivation behind his upcoming feature film Invisible, which further unmasks the HIV/AIDS epidemic, the DOWN LOW issue and the accompanying cross-cultural taboos that have shielded it from view.
"If you think this is a Black issue, you are very mistaken," said Duke. "AIDS is not a Black issue. AIDS is an issue that´s going to impact everybody, everybody´s sisters and daughters, everybody´s families. And why we´re not dealing with this in an emergency way is beyond me. I don´t understand it, I really don´t."
Others lending voice and context to the issue include Dr. Gail Wyatt, clinical psychologist, sex therapist and professor at UCLA; Phill Wilson, Executive Director of the Black AIDS Institute; and Pastor Oliver Clay Allen, openly gay minister of the Vision Church of Atlanta.

Section 2: Tell them who you are and why you would be a good contestant.
2) Put your Name, Address and Phone Number on the tape.
3) Send it to their casting team.
Please label your package and send it to:
ABC Music Project
1149 N. Gower Street, Suite 105
Los Angeles, CA 90038
Tape Deadline: APRIL 30TH, 2006
Making Your Videotape
Make sure they can see and hear you clearly. Do not stand in front of a bright window.
Make sure you are taping in a silent room. Stand close to the camera.
At the end of the tape please zoom the camera out to include a full body shot of you.
Label the tape with your name, address and phone number.
They can accept ALL tape formats, EXCEPT HI8.
Be Kind, Rewind. Rewinding your tape to the beginning greatly increases our fondness for you.
Include a recent photo:
Please enclose a recent personal photo of yourself with the tape. Make sure your photo(s) are clearly labeled with your name and phone number on the back. It is best, though not mandatory, to send two clear photos of yourself - one close up and one full body.
